Club Membership

The Club would like to inform you that from the start of next season (2027/28 season starting 1^st June 2027), all membership renewals and new memberships will be processed exclusively through Clubmate; This means that memberships will no longer be available for purchase via cash, cheque, or in-person arrangements. All transactions must be completed online through the Clubmate platform. Clubmate can be accessed here – https://swaffhamanglingclub.clubmate.co.uk.

Existing club members can purchase their new season’s ticket on presentation of their previous season’s ticket from the 1st May each year. The season commences on the 1st of June each year and lasts for one calendar year, or in the event of a member joining part way through the year, the remainder of the year to 31st May. Anglers will not be able to fish until they have purchased or renewed their membership.

Night ticket memberships are capped.

New night members (either current day ticket members, or new night ticket members) can go onto a waiting list by emailing the Club Secretary at swaffhamanglingclub@outlook.com or informing Kevin Pitt (Kev’s Tackle).

Waiting list to come into effect from 1st June in order based on date of request to go on the waiting list.

For any night ticket memberships remaining after 31st May, the allocation order of priority is as follows:

Current day ticket members on the waiting list have priority on an earliest application date basis, then (if any surplus tickets left)
New night ticket members

Surplus night tickets will be available from the 1st June. Unsuccessful applicants will need to reapply the following year if they wish to be considered for night membership again.

Payment – We accept payment by credit or debit card, Direct Debit or by cash/cheque via Kevs Tackle in Swaffham.

For all members, please ensure you upload a photograph, or if purchasing your membership from Kev’s Tackle, take one into Kev’s Tackle and leave it with the Clubmate form so that your photo card can processed and posted out to you.

All membership categories can be purchased online

Full member: Those aged 18 to 64 on 1st May (days only, dawn until dusk).
Concession: Those aged 65 and over on 1st May or in possession of a concessionary disabled rod licence issued by the Environment Agency.
Night Ticket Premium: required for all categories wishing to fish at night.
Junior member: Young persons up to the age of 17.

Membership shall be at the discretion of the Committee and all members must be in possession of a current Environment Agency Rod Licence, when fishing club waters.
